Corn Chowder

adapted from Best of Taste of Home Volume 2 cookbook

2 cups water
1 pkg chicken ramen noodles
1 can corn
1 can cream corn
1 cup milk
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp parsley
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 bratwurst, boiled until done, then sliced


Bring water to a boil. Break noodles into pieces and add them, the seasoning packet, and onion to water. cook 2-3 minutes, or until noodles are done. Add corn, cream corn, milk, spices, and brats. Heat through. Add cheese and heat until blended.
